Spring will be flinging all over the Square and will feature shopping, food, entertainment and fun from 10 a.m. to “whenever” Saturday, April 28, according to city manager Clint Davis.
More than 20 vendors' booths are set to be there, including BBQ, Sno Cones, jewelry, clothing, etc. The Animal Shelter will have animals up for adoption and there will be a low-cost vaccination clinic by Alvarado Vet. Groomers will also be present.
Central Baptist Church on the square will have a sale on their porch. The city, along with Dance Fusion, Bluebonnet RC & D and EWD will host an electronics recycling event from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Any electronic items or appliances, including those with freon, will be recycled.
Just follow the signs to the square. Drop off is available to any Johnson County resident. The day will wrap up at 8:30 p.m., with a free movie, “Hugo,” sponsored by the library. The outdoor theater will be at 119 E. College between the buildings.
