Cleburne -- Hazel Preston, 78, of Cleburne, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010, in Fort Worth, after living a full life. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2010, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Visitation is from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in the Rosehill Cemetery. Hazel was born April 11, 1932 in Teague, Texas to Luke and Blanche Robertson Cooper. She worked as an estimator with Fort Worth Steel and Machinery, later known as Martin Sprocket, for 44 years. Hazel owned and operated Hazel’s Ceramics in Alvarado for 24 years. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Wanda Sue Brown; and brother, Thomas Ray Cooper. Survivors include her wonderful husband of 49 years, Woody Preston of Cleburne; children and their spouses, Ray and Diane Brown of Irving, Rhonda and Pete DeSousa of Benbrook and Ronnie and Pam Preston; grandchildren, Cindy, Denise, Kim, A.J., Robbie and Dylan; great grandchildren, Courtney, Katie, Justin and Ryan; brother, L.J.
