Alvarado -- Linda Killgore, 65, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, February 25, 2010, in a Fort Worth hospital after a courageous battle with pneumonia.

 Services were 10 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2010, at the Cana Baptist Church in Burleson. Visitation was 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home in Alvarado.

 Linda was born on October 25, 1944 in Fort Worth to Herman Childress and Dollie Mae Newman Proctor. She graduated from Technical High School in May of 1963. She married Howard Killgore on May 10, 1963 in Fort Worth. Linda retired from Probe Technologies in 2006.  Mom enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners for her family and always looked forward to her Wednesday lunches with her daughter. Her beautiful flowerbeds were a testament to her passion for gardening, in addition to her new love for quilting.

 She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Howard Killgore; daughter, Darla Gillihan and husband, Clarence; son, Kevin Killgore and wife, Christine, and grandchildren, Dustin Gillihan, Kevin Scott, Tyler and her favorite granddaughter, Samantha Killgore; her beloved Daisy; sister, Faye Lynn Campbell and husband, Robert; brother, Kenneth Thomas Proctor and many nieces and nephews who loved her like a mom.
