Keller -- Timothy Wayne Head, 44, passed away and met Jesus face to face, Thursday, December 24, 2009, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

 Funeral services were 10 a.m. Monday, December 28, 2009, at the Heritage Church of Christ. Committal was 3 p.m. in Bethany Rest Cemetery in Alvarado followed by a reception at the Alvarado Church of Christ.

 Memorial gifts may be made in Tim’s name to Christian Homes of Abilene, 1202 Estates Drive, Abilene, Texas 79602 or the Charles Head Memorial Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 387, Alvarado, Texas 76009.

 Tim was born July 2, 1965, in Alvarado and graduated from Alvarado High School in 1984. He attended the University of Texas at Arlington, Lubbock Christian and Tarleton State universities. He graduated from Joe Brinkman’s Umpire School in Coco Beach, Fla., and was a minor league umpire for two years, a baseball umpire for 20 years and a football referee for seven seasons.

 Tim worked for the Texas Department of Transportation for 14 years in right of way acquisitions and was with SRLS, Texas for the last six years. He was a licensed real estate agent with V.I.P. Properties.

 Tim was a charter member and deacon at Heritage Church of Christ.

 Survivors nclude his wife of 17 years, Amy Webb Head; daughter, Samantha Leann Head; parents, Tommy and Carolyn Head of Alvarado; his twin brother, Tom D’Wayne Head and wife, Monica, of Alvarado; sisters, Stephanie Elaine Farmer and husband, Andy, of Grandview, Laura Janell Head of Alvarado and Tonya Reese Jimison and husband, Wayne, of Fort Worth; three nieces; 10 nephews; one great-niece; and two great-nephews.
